Another leather bag, and a question

Is there not a danger of vegitable oil going rancid?

Another leather bag, and a question

Carnauba Creme is the wax I use. And I agree it is great, gives a good finish and does not stain. It does not soften the leather though. I should probably try oiling the leather then putting the creme on but it just does not feel like it would take over the oil.

Another leather bag, and a question

As I have said elsewhere I have been pretty busy of late but still managed to get some leatherwork in here and there. I made a bag a while back for my iPad but made the mistake of making it fractionally to small to take a magazine or A4 pad as well. I eventually got round to making one that...

I've only gone and started another forum. 1st canoes, now dogs

Mostly been shooting from a hide and it really does not seem to matter to much if there is anything coming in or not. It is still good to be out there watching the world go by. That said it is bette when you are getting a steady stream of birds ;) Don't worry. Anything that constitutes a...

I've only gone and started another forum. 1st canoes, now dogs

The issue is lack of time not lack of company. Warthog1981 visits often. I've also been doing some pigeon and crow shooting for a local farmer so that also has eaten into the time. I'm not complaining I enjoy all the things I am doing. I just need more time to be doing more of them :)

    LifeProof, waterproof iPhone case review

LifeProof, waterproof iPhone case review Just posted this review on SotP and thought it would be of interest here too ;) This is a review I have been meant to do for ages but I wanted to be sure I had used the case for long enough to give a considered opinion. I looked at a lot of reviews...

    Loch Lomond at its best

Just back from a week at Arisaig with Sam and the girls. She is going to sleep for a week now probably ;) http://magikelly.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/arisaig-holiday.html She is still pretty small for a Rotty so a little over 4 stone. One thing that worries me is how young some of them do seem to go.

    Lochwinnoch Clean up blogg

Lochwinnoch Cleanup Weekend 2012 Well another successful cleanup has passed. Once again the turnout was terrific with everyone getting stuck in and shifting a huge amount of rubbish. Every year I keep meaning to take more pictures and every year I keep getting too focused on litter...
