Mine arrived today, looked like new! Bigger than I thought (labelled 37-41") but fitted me nicely over a couple layers and I'm 5ft 10" and 44" chest. Very happy - was thinking of buying the Swanndri from Ray for £85, this is pretty much identical for £20!!!!!

All the MTP bivi's have the extended front so go for one of those. And another vote for softie jacket and trousers - lovely and warm, squash down to nothing in the pack and give peace of mind in cold weather. Make sure you buy a size smaller, they are massive!!

As mentioned, you can't go wrong with the British Army sleeping bags and bivy. They both work really well and are pretty affordable - some Folks complain they weigh slightly more than top end brands but I've never had as issue.

An UQ is a bit of an eyeopener when you first use one, the lovely feeling of warmth underneath! A game changer for hammock camping.

I've just had one of these turn up from Ali - it's really nicely made and has a few strips of velcro along the edges to let you tweak the shape of it. Very impressed for the money...

Cheers in advance,
Phil
