Whilst laying in my hammock at a recent scout camp, I noticed a rip in my DD 3x3 tarp. The rip is about 1.5 inch long and has the usual L shape. Can anyone recommend the best method to fix it? I can’t afford to replace it, and want more than a quick put me on fix.

My dad had rats on the farm, and he used the bags, looked like blue corn, and no longer has rats. So that stuff worked, not sure what it was called, but I can ask. That will have been from the farm shop. You could have a lot of fun making traps though and seeing what works best.

I think a lot comes down to what you want to do. If your looking to stealth camp, you might just want a simple bivvi bag, and a bin bag to put your pack in over night. I have a few options, depending on what I’m doing, and they items have been built up over the years. Bivvi bag with a sleep...

I remember selling my Airarms TX200, can’t remember for how much, I suppose I don’t need it now anyway, it’s been replaced by a shotgun which only comes out once in a blue moon. I do however miss my Suzuki SV650, it was a lovely bike, but I sold it to pay for the Landy, so I can’t moan too much.
