I have Sealskin All Weather, they are supposed to be touch screen friendly but seem to be a bit hit and miss.
I bought the liner gloves to make them better for the colder weather.
I also bought some cheap magic gloves for use as liners that have touch screen that do the job.

I last saw a load in a Surplus Shop, I almost bought some but they didn’t have my size. This was several years ago, so probably no real help.

I use a Lansky, and Lansky normal stones, which does the job and is quite therapeutic.
I did buy the stand for the clamp, but ideally that needs to be mounted on some board.

+ however many on this.
My wife has one of their parka’s rated down to minus 10 or something similar.
She feels the cold and really likes this coat, you can order online and return to a shop if it doesn’t fit.
I buy my daughters outdoor stuff as it is fairly decent quality and she is more...
I have an Old Jungle Sweat Rag, tied in big loop, doesn’t keep me warm but is useful for
lots of other things.
Only use I found for a scrim scarf was to wear it like a cravat with combat jacket to hid the fact I couldn’t afford a Norgy shirt and was wearing a KF shirt.

I wouldn’t go that far!
I’m keeping it quiet in here as I suspect a lot of members would mistake me for Bambi and I’d end up in a pot over an open fire in semi permanent camp.

I keep
Looking at the body weight strap things as I went through phases of hitting the gym every morning to not.
My overall steps are down since March, it is amazing how much difference having the kettle within a few feet makes.
My plan is to start walking more and more, we’ve got a puppy so...

We have a local Farm, where the sons came through scouts and they were more than happy to show the current crop of scouts how they make sausages and then let us camp in a copse of trees, build a fire and then cook the sausages.
And then...
I found some of the language being used here interesting.
In most cases you are looking at of wanting to use someone else’s property and you talk of being hassled or turfed off by the person who owns it.
Would you feel the same if you came back to your tent/bivvy and found someone else using...
My Buffalo SP shirt an salopettes never got used last year, it wasn’t cold enough.
This year I can see it getting used to walk the dog first thing.

We use Vango Tempests and have a mixture of 200 and 300. Big enough for 2 or 3 kids and exped kit, but they can always use a bin bag to put the bag in if the porch isn’t big enough.
The District Explorers have OEX tents, which have a very handy second bag, so when you split the tent between the...
I bought myself an Opinel as a Scout, I bought lots of other cheaper penknives too and a Mora Scout too.
I bought my son an Opinel No 6 when he joined Cubs and it is the knife I recommend parents buy for their cub age children.
I bought my son a Mora Scout knife, when he became a scout...
I bought my son an Opinel his first Christmas as a Cub and a Mora Scout Sheath knife as a scout.
The same knives I had at the same ages.
I’m buying another Opinel this year
for my daughter and will probably buy a Scout soon, so I have it safe.
Just need to hope the Scout Group survives for...
Absolutely stay in the Tier 3 area and do not travel.
My parents live in a Tier 3 area, they are going to continue to visit their caravan, because it’s in the same Tier 3 area, I haven’t bothered to look m, but I would suspect that one location has a higher infection rate than the other.
I had...
He was doing raffles up until the New Year, but I haven’t seen anything from him for quite a while.
I won an S4 clone, which I’ve only had chance to use once, really like it though and it gets taken out and admired at least once a week.
