    Ive used one of these all the time for years, I find it great and can get a decent edge on it. I'm due to replace it with the same again due to the amount I've used it I smoothed the back of my diamond stones and added finer grit lapping film as well for touching up the edge

    It is worth a look, lots of good information and knowledgeable people on there but there is not all that many makers that regularly post there anymore compared to social media in my opinion

    Knife makers tend to like each other's posts. Pick a maker you like. Look at the likes on one of their posts, look at the list, click a maker, look at who likes their posts, rinse and repeat. Don't worry about searching it's useless. Pics for example

    Instagram is probably your best bet, finding one knife maker then looking at the post likes from other makers will find you lots. Or if you letus know what type of knife I'm sure you will get some good recommendations here

    For Sale Vintage Tufnol blocks

    I have some big bits of vintage Tufnol thick enough for crosscut knife scales. These were sourced from old workshop/ engineering firm clearances and don't show up in these thicknesses very often but I have too much stuff in the shed. Each piece is £25 please

    Apply for the delay. First thing to try to see if it's an interest is a handy sized bag, padded with multiple pockets and a harder compartment at the base. I have another I use as a fishing bag and this is surplus to requirements
