I was out in the rain checking for fallen nests and anything else out of place after the storm yesterday. Nothing found thank goodness.

We had 4 seasons in one day yesterday- icy hail, thunder, driving rain, sun and wind. Today it's 18 degrees. That is how fickle May can be.

I think just smearing it on trees would be a good idea. This guy on Twitter has given me loads of advice on pine martens @pinetencolin he also leaves eggs out at feeding stations which are basically raised platforms in the forest.

@Nomad64 that's a really great story. Such a lovely dog. We had to put our dog to sleep two weeks ago, she was the greatest companion to me and I am still very sad about it, but reading stories like this makes it all a little more bearable. Thank you.

I would like an electric car - possibly a fiat 500 if they ever start making them. I would like to go across Europe, stopping off to charge her up every 3 hours in a scenic spot. Hopefully it will be much more than a tour of European IKEAS. Failing that I would go on my (non-electric) Vespa.
