    At the darkest part of year (end of december) in Finland the sun rise around 10 o´clock and set around 14 o´clock. But usually we have snow then so it is a lot more light than in november when it usually is cloudy and rainy.

    We don´t have winter yet but last saturday there was a mass collision with 50 cars involved on a stretch of motorway in southern Finland. Thick fog (visibility only about 50-100 meters) and black ice on the tarmac. And people driving normal high speed dispite the fog.

    Pathfinder canteen set

    A food tin is not supposed to be heated up so do anybody have any idea what the heat does to the lining inside the tin? I sure don´t. Never have and never will heat tin can of food. If heating is required then empty the can in a pot first and then heat up.

    Some goodies. Canned ryebread and currywurst will be my evening meal when I arrive at the hotel next month. Lard will be used at home for frying. My new coffee mug. Kupilka 37 (4dl).

    Silky Outback aren´t any stronger, they just have some sort of coating to make the blade more slippery.
