    4x4 camper

The way I had it set up (or not) served me well, loads of storage in the boxes & behind the bench seat, comfy bed & chair, and space to sort my stuff & cook inside if necessary. The later models (L400) have a split bench seat that folds up to the side & some have a moveable bench seat in the...

    4x4 camper

Little bit jealous.......Had a lot of fun with my L300  Have been going down the campervan rabbit hole again recently & keep coming back to the Delica. I never got around to doing a proper conversion on my L300, other than removing one of the middle captain seats & building some...

Journey to Vanlife stage 2 about to start

In the throes of looking at them & seriously thinking of buying one in the future. I owned the Delica L300 (previous model, which had the 2.5L Pajero engine & was a bit more agricultural & low tech) I had it for 7 years and toured the country in it Scotland, & the Hebrides in it, Not the...

Article: SnugPak: Insulated Jungle Travel Blanket

I have the XL Jungle Blanket that I use on it's own during summer or as a topper/sitting around blanket during the winter. As a suggestion, if you wrap one end with shockcord & then flip it so the bunched end is inside at your feet, it acts similar to a basic quilt & doesn't move around too much.

Sold Reductions: Luxe Minipeak, Terrava Skrama, Gerber Strongarm and more...

I'm surprised the Luxe MiniPeak hasn't sold yet at that price. I have one and have used it in all weathers without any problem. Honestly can't fault it.

Guided tour through the exhibition 'Doggerland'

Interesting watch. I have the 'In Our Time - Doggerland' episode permanently bookmarked/downloaded on BBC Sounds If you are willing to plough through the hundreds of episodes & cherry-pick your interests, there are some fascinating talks/interviews on there & Melvin Bragg is very good at...

STILL looking for a new tent!

Also worth having a look at the Luxe Minipeak II, bit heavier than the Hexpeak but comes with the inner & simpler to put up. Both the Hexpeak & Minipeak II are stocked by backpackinglight who also stocks poles & pole extenders etc.

Will check out the Cyflect tape. I've tested the Nitecore Tini out, even smaller than I expected but great bit of kit and ridiculously bright. The RGB light is an interesting little thing, spent a lot of my working life in electronics/engineering prototyping etc so have a soft spot for lumps of...

    What did you buy today?

Thanks for the reply & comments. More bits to the set than I really need but would make a good one man brew kit for the pack.

    What did you buy today?

@Tengu Is that the set on sale in Argos? Quite tempting at that price so would be interested in your opinion of it.
