in the can coatings there's the same stuff as in nalgene bottles, only difference is that you can wash nalgene bottles out before use and that you don't heat food in them.

sounds great, bringing fresh meat would be a problem becouse of the refridguration, but a small expedition/hunt to a supermarket would be a good solution. As for the earth oven, if someone can bring heat-proof stones, that would be great(still having good memories about the hangi at the dbm:D...
