    Tilley Hats

I've got an LT5, it's a great hat. While it's got no snap up feature, the rear strap can be slid up over the hat to hold the sides up.

Bacho Laplander, should i purchase one?

Laplanders are chainsaws, you won't regret buying one. Silky saws are expensive and very heavy and in my opinion it doesn't cut as well as the Laplander.

    Bushcraft sleeping bag

I've been informed that the only difference between the Elite's and the Softies is the the Softies are made in the UK and the Elites are made in the far east. There is about £20 difference to have the Softie that's made in the UK.

    Bushcraft sleeping bag

The Alpkit have a few downsides i'm not too keen on. I would prefer synthetic as it's easier to clean, they don't pack as small as other bags and they are a bit pricey.

Fjallraven Falt jacket or Swazi Tahr?

No idea I'm afraid. I was going to get a West-Winds Airedale jacket. But now I'm thinking of getting the country innovations Kestrel smock, with it being Ventile and a waterproof membrane it'll be quiet and better around fires than a Gore-Tex jacket.
