A newish manbag convert here. Bought a Finnish gas mask bag and really like it, good strong build.
A week or so ago bought one of those Yugo bags too. It's not as thick canvas as the Fin bag but it's doubled up layers so still pretty strong, not used it much yet though.
Pete.
Thanks for the heads up, just ordered one too.
Love Buffalo stuff and my old mountain shirt/over the head type one is getting a bit thread bear now.
Cheers,
Pete.
I also looked into a pair but for a BK9, I think they are the same as for the BK2, and will be interested to see what your research comes up with Ed.
Cheers,
Pete.
Had a really enjoyable bimble around a lovely part of Perthshire with Dunc, Dave and Charles .
I only took two pics though.....
Dave is pretty laid back, Dunc's a dab hand at the espresso and Charles the human Tipi :D
Looking down on the Loch of the Lowes.
Nice to meet up lads.
Cheers...
Lol :), yep I saw you where after one of those . I'd seen the plain ones before but didn't know about the copper ones. They look .
Good luck in your search , I'll keep an eye out for you too.
Pete.
Thanks guys.
Real old box that I've had for years , sorry but I've no idea what it was originally for but I now keep char cloth in it.
You've a thing for brass and copper mate :)

A couple of members on BCUSA collaborated awhile back on making a Flint Pouch and the maker was kind enough to answer some questions as to how he made it after I expressed an interest in making a version of it too.
I made this pouch from veg-tanned leather with an added welt the same thickness...
Hi Silverback,
I also put off getting one for ages , very happy I did now.
Once I had the coating off there is some grind mark etc but nothing too bad, to me anyway .
Made up some leather sheaths for them and have just replaced the handle bolts on the BK9 with some stainless ones  :o.
Pete.
