Nothing! this year has been epic, I have managed to hike the moors and brecon's , lots of free climbs of Hound tor and Hay and more, simple truth is your running out life young or old, so your life has to matter to you and have meaning, that drive is selfish and it has to be, sacrifice other...
Boreal Ninja climbing shoes, size 9 sweet jesus there tight! So glad I did not go a half size down from my street size as some think you should, but they do make me feel I could get grip on fresh air itself :D
I'm trying to stay at the 45 range, water was one of the single most heavy carry's, that can't be got round but using a bladder mean's the bulk was at least flexi, and pad's my back as for the sleeping bag, I'm going to have to spend, £300 should do it! I know it seems crazy but its a small hit...
A green river / hunters dadley can be had for under £20 there full tang not stick and considering there history and the time of there use, it is one of the first wilderness knives so should be good for some thing :D

I also have the army sleeping bag, there really nice but if I cram it in my fast hike 45l pack, its stuffed out like a well made haggis, with about enough room for hoping the weathers good? and sure I could just wing it? ho and maybe a pen knife:D
You could skinny on some kit but the trade off is cost, I use a Berghaus micro jacket with a Berghaus changze alpine shell, its water proof and warm, packs to nothing but the cost is savage! next I'm looking at the bulk of the sleeping bag, again there is some super kit out there but sweet jesus...
All done!

Still...
As it came with just a once over with acid
Lot of work to flatten and even up the blade, bevels I also make as flat and even as poss then finish with a micro edge.
guard and pommel I have only cleaned up a little and same with the handle, too clean and you lose the roughness of its...
