    SWC knives

Cheers Martin -but from the looks of it- my AW Woodlore seems to predate yours. Nice fat handle on that AW of yours . The scales on mine are very much like the SWC. I suspect the SWC even wins in thickness. Is there anybody around that has given the knife some actual use and can comment on...

    SWC knives

Ah well - I could always take up religion and visit the nearest old church with a bible and a bahco laplander :) I must say that the handle slabs look fantastic on the SWC - I'll report on it when I get it and take some shots next to my beloved old model AW. Curious to see if they are thicker...

    SWC knives

Still, I am amazed by the differences in handling that I have observed over the years on various woodlore clones. Not even on the clones but also on the WS and AW models. A slightly slimmer/fatter blade or handle profile can do a lot towards weight distribution, comfort and maneuverability...

    Bernie Garland Whittler/Necker

It's here :D -thanks MorningFox! goodjob Lovely little thing. Good handle for such a small knife. This will take my carving detail to a whole new level and make a mean small game peeler. ;) Nice for an edc kit. Holds a great edge too, as far as I have tried it. Cheers, -Emile

    Trip To Sweden

Oh - don't mistake the Blåbärsoppa for regular fruit juice. I made that mistake once and took a large gulp out of the pack on a hot day. It was all over the place. Disgusting :) -Emile

If I did not have a number of blades to finish, I would snap this up in an instant. This is a steal.

    Axe storage in a flat

A couple of coats of linseed on all parts and occasional use to let them get a bit of outside air and it will be fine. I store 5 various model Axes indoors and rotate a bit between them over the year. Never had any problems so far. -Emile

Spanish folding knife workshop visit photos

That's an excellent insight into this traditional shop. Could you explain a bit about the blade shape? I have never seen knives with a blade pattern like that. Do you open them one handed from the 'top' ? Or is it a special application blade? -Emile

    Hi Guys, spoon carving help

I just drop em in a zip-loc bag for some time with some olive-oil. Works for me. Until carved ready, I keep the projects in the fridge, with a plastic wrap around it. -Emile

    Freezerbag cooking

I think it does completely away with the spirit of bushcrafting. This way you keep adding "convenient", modern stuff instead of building up your campfire cooking skills. That's basically just camping out. The whole point of having a fire and a simple pot is that they are multi-use tools. If...
