For me it boils down to a few, overlapping issues:
time: I've got a family & we like to do stuff together. Mrs DHD & I have little weekends away on a regular basis too:).
energy: after work and all the other stuff I do, I can't always summon up the energy to get ready for another overnight or...

Just thinking about starting to write a list of the stuff we'll need, plus of course all the good stuff we just want to bring! Mind you, we have actually gone so far as to book a van this year; I can't keep sending two of them on the train because the car is so chock-a-block!
