The older boot model is based on the same last as the new one, but has a higher shaft and no lacing. These are also available for the same price as the newer ones.
There are no Finnish surplus removable insoles available for the boots, except for thin leather insoles for smaller sizes.
They are adequate, but then again these boots are not meant for to be walk on ice, but to be use with skis during the winter. Do buy anti slip protectors if you need...

The listed weight is 3.7 kg or 8.2 lb.
This is the same model made by a different manufacturer and perhaps out of a bit modern materials. The older rucksacks being now sold are made out of aluminum and nylon.
I didn't have my camera with me, but saw a few relatively well preserved parachutists rucksacks in the store for 60 € each. These are 80 litre rucksacks used by paratroopers and other special troops in the Finnish Defence Forces. The image below is scanned from a Finnish manual.
