i think some of my reason for asking is that I'm currently favouring a full flat grind as my go to woods knife ( L T Wright Next Gen) as it is so versatile. Don't get me wrong I still use my scandi grind knives a lot but as we all know...
I have just been looking at the Woodlore pro knife on the Ray Mears website and noticed the grind is longer than previous Woodlore knives. Reading the description the angle is now 25 degrees for this model, I believe scandi grinds are normally around 20 degrees. As I'm never going to afford one...
Alternatively my partner is a seamstress and has said she would cut a pattern if provided with a garment to work from...or even possibly make it for a reasonable cost.

It was a few years ago I made mine and can't remember where I got the pattern. I'll have a Google but it was basically for a hoody and I adapted it adding waxed cotton trim on the shoulders and to lengthen it.
I'm having a stupid think moment! I have a handmade knife (it's at home and i'm at work so I can't post a pic) that has a red dot logo on the blade and I can't think of the name of the maker. I think that unhandled blades were a red dot and complete blades he made were a black dot. It's driving...

Some of the Austrian surplus is just green not camo so might be worth a look. Also I think I've seen RAF goretex kit in blue....
If you've got a larger budget I'm a fan of Paramo kit.
