Hello from Norfolk and former man of Kent coming from Ashford, I do miss the rolling hills but not the traffic!

When you paddle the river, it changes the whole prospective of where you are and at times you feel it could be in the wilds of some Canadian river!!!

That last picture I think is the river Thet, on route to Santon Downham, travelled down that stretch of water many a happy time!

My wife loves spiders and leave the cobwebs, she calls the free and effective fly traps!

I’ll start your list, a pair of flip flops, why something to wear and air your feet, also to wear in the shower! Most ex/military will tell you the nasties picked up in showers can be awful, so helps with hygiene. Small n light weight!

Pen rods are good fun, I have one but the way to go is a small telescopic n reel. Again i have an exage by shimano and cannot rate it enough, a brilliant combo, only draw back is the price!
