    An uninsulated van will be older than a tent.... Its a single skinned metal box It will loose heat very quickly. Insulated mat definitely needed.

    Got one 30 years ago. Great knife - had it retro fitted with wooden scales. Unfortunately these cracked (Joy's if living in a damp cottage for yeats then moving) Refitted plastic from one of the miltec copies.

    The tri fold issue ones aren't anywhere near as heavy duty as the old one (though I've also now ordered trifold as smaller)

    Anyone know of a relatively cheap source of genuine tri fold NATO shovels? I've had a look and can only find battered ones or expensive ones. I'm after one to keep in car until I sort WG one / take paddle camping.
