I think we had a discussion on this 15 years ago, and the consensus then was that it wasn’t a good idea as people would just click on that rather than replying as they do on FB. I think that’s true. Not sure it offers anything really. Nowadays it’s evolved and people crave it as affirmation.
I have to admit. It’s not difficult to use an image hosting site. I did that for over a decade on here and my posts were very picture heavy. And it’s even easier now. It would be interesting to see how many members actually have a problem with this though.
Nothing better than walking g around the woods late at night. Armed with a thermal imager it’s amazing what you see. I probably send more time wondering around woods at night than during the day in the spring and Summer. Especially Sherwood.
Interaction needs to be encouraged. So less of the ‘do a search we’ve covered that many times’ posts. That discourages conversation and makes the person asking the question less likely to add input to other discussions and maybe even creating their own threads ever again. Does it really matter...
