    Reactive outdoor 3sec tent

Someone who used to work for me also did courier deliveries for Evri on the side. Apparently it was £1 per parcel wages so he would be selective about what parcels he would take and when. Big ones were worth less to him as well because it left less space in the car! It wasn’t a case of being...

Voluntarily handing in a large blade to the UK police

I have no issue with someone leaving the trace that they’ve opened a footpath back up. You’re one of the worst for off topic chat so don’t feel the need to pull anyone else up on it either.

Voluntarily handing in a large blade to the UK police

Get a grip. Needing to go ask permission before clearing overgrowth on a path? Don’t be silly.

    Battery powered Strimmer

I have a titan one for the allotment. Battery life is acceptable. I live close so never feel I need to lot out for the day and often just walk round with just that. Nettles are a struggle so I’ve recently just bought a titan battery hedge trimmer for those. I didn’t want to go for petrol...

Voluntarily handing in a large blade to the UK police

When I first read it and saw the £30 mentioned I thought the same as you but then read it further. You can gamble asking for more compo but they have no incentive as you’ve already handed it in by that point.

Selling knives privately and auction houses in UK?

To be more complicated, when it starts you will have to put £30 worth of claim in at a time so you can’t get a £10 knife compensation on its own. You can still put one £100 knife to get a tenner though.

Selling knives privately and auction houses in UK?

Cotswolds is a reasonable location that folk could get to you to pick up rather than having to post. You could try listing them for sale and see what happens.

Selling knives privately and auction houses in UK?

You can’t put them in a bin then try claim compensation after. There’s not actually a scheme for compensation at the moment anyway. Where abouts in the uk are the knives now?

    Best EDC Prybar?

Yep, pretty simple. They do have a curve at the front which is good. https://edcgear.co.uk/products/countycomm-widgy-pry-bar

The clear locks are relatively easy but I’ve still not got a real padlock open! A nice fiddle toy though!

Wood burning smell from the firepit in the garden

While true, I don't think anyone finds anyone putting their washing out as anti-social... (Waiting for a wisecrack from PT about it)

Wood burning smell from the firepit in the garden

Everyone I’ve know with a chimnea has just used wood. As to garden fires, I go for the basic rule of if it’s nice weather and people are likely to have washing out then no fire. When it gets into the evening and starting to cool off then fine for a fire pit occasionally. It’s all about respect...
