    New spoon knife

It's a Robin Wood, direct from his site. Nearly £50 with postage. I thought it would be a good investment. Think I might contact him.

    New spoon knife

Hi guys. Just received my new Robin Wood spoon knife this morning. Don't know how well the pictures will show it, but the edge isn't exactly straight. It's a wee bit wavy. Is this normal for spoon knives/Robin Wood knives? I have no basis for comparison. It cuts well, but I don't fancy my...

Left handed Robin Wood compound curve spoon knife

Hi folks. As title above, I bought a job lot of carving tools from a guy on Gumtree today and thought I was on to a winner as it contained the above knife. However, I need a right-handed knife. Can't win them all I guess. I'm dying to carve some spoons. The knife seems to have been well...

My wife of 16 years passed away tonight.

Stay strong. Loss is never easy, but you will get through it one day at a time. One hour at a time if you have to. It will get easier. Just remember how much you love her. That will never fade.

How much coffee is too much coffee

As well as various other coffee makers, I've got one of those bean to cup filter machines with a timer, so I can set it for a certain time. The grinder works better than any alarm. Plus I use my Senseo machine during the day, although pods are getting harder to find. I also found a brand new...

    Bad Back....so painfull

I've been given capsaicin cream for my sore back. It's much better than deep heat or any other creams I've tried. In conjunction with my painkillers I'm actually getting some relief these days. I would definitely recommend asking your gp for some of this

Thanks Hamish for starting my attention to this. It looks like it's going to be great. I don't think I'll be able to camp this year due to health issues but hopefully I'll make the next one. Have a fantastic time, and take lots of pics
