The other option potentially is that I don't dislike my current pack. It's a Brandit Mule. I've modified it with a better hip belt and larger Viper side pouches and some extra front straps off the MOLLE for what seems to be a gigantic bedroll!! The option is pack less so I don't need a bigger...

I'm pretty set on the rocket pack idea. That gives me a lot of extra carrying capacity only when I need it. I guess the other option is to purchase the SF or the Snugpak Rocket pack and get one of the local military shops to modify it for me. OLO www.onelifeoverland.com
