Can't comment on the smock but I've got a Deer Hunter Nebraska jacket which is Deertex, I've had this jacket for around 15 years now, admitedly I only wear it in the winter as it's too damn hot but the build quality is excellent.
That is absolutely stunning work, really like that. I'm also impressed that you're using it as well, I hate owning gear just to look at and i think too many folk would be afraid of taking that work of art outside. Saying that I also think it's going to get better and better looking as it's used.
No problems with this at all I've found reading the replies really interesting and picked up some ideas myself. Keep them coming I'm sure others will have found this useful to.

Not entirely sure what recipe I use as I generally make it up as I go along but in recent years we started having crepes on Christmas eve filled with melted belgium chocolate and morello cherries.
I know the Wannigan is for canoeing but for me it's mainly for the car/trailer as a way of transporting and organising and possibly as a prep area. I've got a few ideas I'm drawing out, although at this rate it might be easier for me to make a couple of separate units.
I've got a surplus of pallet wood that I've split and is currently in my shed. I'm looking at building a Wannigan to keep my dutch ovens and cooking kit but I nee inspiration.
So as the title says... Show my your Wannigan's.
Fantastic setup, really impressed, I love the clockwork spit, I've not seen one of those before. You do know that we'll have lost Wayne now for the next month while he searches on eBay for one.
