I looked at it and a show. For axe I would use is a definite, better size and weight to most GB axes and more practical for my needs. I like the GB axes just a bit to thin and light and not enough width for my needs, where this one is a lot better.

Looks like a great time had by all and been busy too.

Settled into the woods, quite nicely. Got a few of the jobs I wanted to sort out already done, few flying insects around but have left me alone and not biting, but we're a pain for a bit till I got a smokey fire on the go. Now listening to so light rain on the tarp.

I may have scouted out a suitable site ;), just a making sure I get it. Got so ideas for a few projects I may get started as well.

Dry sandy ground so not many mossies at all. And with the holly being there that we are clearing out not much under story either. A few ferns and bluebells on the edge of the wood. A great find this one.

A good malt, decent brandy, rum, spiced rum, port, absithe, Jager, cinnamon Aftershock, gin, a non triple distilled vodka or even a ale or wheat beer or stout......maybe a theme there. Although drinking a lot less than I used to. Just good company and a fire even on occasion

Aldi and Lidl normally do them from time to time, and sometimes as a set with a sledge and a wedge for £25, but with costs might have gone up.

Steve after May shouldn't be a problem for a while, looks like most of my reserve stuff is about to finish as they have just cut most of my work with them. My last work will be from 13-25 May then I will be free for a while till I find a new job.

Even more great pics. I would be up for more meets. I can definitely help with any Navigation needs and it is a great site to show some more navigational skills bit of a bigger view than North Wood.
