Is there a "stove" for Dutch Army Canteens?

If you are talking about the Oval mug set, Then the crusader MK1 and Mk2 will work but the stoves are a lot bigger than the cup. Also the pathfinder stoves. The Swedish M40 stove/wind guard is too big for the cup, Trangia with a cross on top work well with a small packable windshield.

    Why the different date formats?

The internationally recognised system for official timings is the date time group system it is mainly used by the military. So an example would be: 251330A Aug 22 which means is is the 25th August 2022 and the time is 1:30 p.m. BST or Alpha zone. Admittedly it is a British system but as we...

    DIY UCO candles

I use the same type of paraffin lamp filler, I use some citronella paraffin oil in mine and can last up to 2-2.5 hours, at the price I have q few of them so I can easily slip them out when done and then put another in if I still need a light, but often I just let it burn out and replace it the...

    Low Stretch Cord

There are a few options out there depending on your needs. My main preferred option now in the new issue green string it is about a 3mm cord with a breaking strain of about 300lb which I can sometimes get through the stores chain in the army. The old stuff we had was the worst for stretch ever...

Lords Wood Christmas meet 2021 Photo's

It is an original smokehouse hammock tent in multi-cam. This meet I only used bungees and pegs to sort it out for the wall, not the usual walking poles or bivi poles I normally use. I did not put my stove in because it was not cold enough and I was on a cam cot with a this polish sleep mat...
