As above, I got one of these from work, drained the oil and took it to the recycling point where they had a "used oil" receptacle. Then cleaned it out with detergent and water, took some time, but was ok cutting it open after that..
Edinburgh is warm with lots of sunbathing going on, at the weekend, we had spots of rain at Loch Lomond, sunshine mostly... warm at night if you kept out the wind. I used a bivvy bag and a fairly thin sleeping bag and was very comfortable under a tarp
Just back from a trip out to Inchconnachan Island in Loch Lomond with my brother in law and some friends from Germany.
We started of near Drymen at the Endrick water, it meanders down slowly to Balmaha on Loch Lomond...
We camped on the south side of Inchconnachan, never saw any...
That's a good distance! I'm planning for the Glencoe Half marathon next year, so very interested in the pack options also the use of poles when running..
Today went with my brother in law to Callender and put the canoe in at the carpark there beside the River Teith, part of a recce for another trip later in the year.

Although we're in the town,theres a fair amount of trees coming down over the year to keep it stocked, but i need to keep restocking.

Alnwick has this garden set aside, we took the guided tour once, the guide said the kids were ok, it was the dads who had to be watched...
We got one composting bin from the council, the other from a friend, both the same idea, open at the base, I put a wire mesh on the ground to discourage burrowing creatures.
