Thank you.
Kepis, we were insured by Lloyds at our old place. They did everything they could think of to avoid paying out until we threatened the ombudsman. Then miraculously we got a big cheque. This was due to them effectively miss selling the policy that we took out. The small print said we...
It's that time of year again. The renewal is silly priced.
Does anyone have any recommendations on who to use. Main stumbling blocks are that I have tools in the garage(part of the house not a separate building) that mount up in cost quite quickly. This means that some insurers class wont cover...
I have a 1985 110 Utility Wagon.
It's a bit triggers broom nowadays. I suspect the only original parts are the bulkhead and front wings.
It's part of the family now. We couldn't get rid of it :D
I picked up an Ally folder from a guy on here a while ago. I've only had it out a few times as it's 16'6" and I'm a learner doing solo and using the clubs smaller canoes but when tandem compared to similar sized canoes that the club has it's fantastic.
Takes a bit to put together but once made...
I've finally got round to grinding the bevels on a blank that I got from HillBill about 2 1/2 years ago :o
I had/am attempted/ing to put a chisel grind on a kitchen knife blank that I got 3 of from Mark at the same time but haven't finished that yet as it was taking forever and I don't get much...

Doesn't stop them escapeing but does mean that they are easier to get to.
The travel cot thingies are a PITA to lug about and weighty.
Larkshead the loop onto the spike. That's what I do with my DD tarp. The guy line can be larksheaded on as well, around the tarp loop larkshead if you want.
Thanks everyone :)
I've done a bit more digging about what he wants to do with it and made some suggestions.
I'd also just noticed that nordic outdoor have the scandi as in stock so passed that on as well.
Thank you.
I have a Small Forrest Axe and another mate has the Double Bit Axe and he has tried both of those. Mainly used on my dad's farm taking out and processing trees down the brookside. Defiantly not "needed" but neither are most things in life:o Sometimes the chainsaw just isn't as much...
A friend was going to be given a GB Scandinavian Forest Axe for his birthday pressie from his other half but apparently she can't get it any more.
She is asking what would be a suitable alternative? Any Ideas?
Cheers
Grebby
I have an edge pro apex system. For knives with a secondary bevel it's fantastic. My pocket knife and kitchen knives all get done using it.
For scandi grinds I use whetstones.
