    Tiny Monocular / Telescope.

The Leica that I have has decent eye relief for glasses users and an extendable eye cup for use without glasses. The quality of the coating makes a big difference for roof prism optics, more so than porro prisms. Of course, the optical resolution is determined by the size of the objective lens...

Are you left handed, right handed, mixed or ambidextrous?

I've been thinking about this since I posted a few mins back. I suspect much of this is muscle memory. I made lunch lefty today. And whilst it wasn't an issue, I certainly had to put more effort into the control of the knife etc than if I was using my right hand. Now I can shave with a cut...

Are you left handed, right handed, mixed or ambidextrous?

I identify as right handed. I can use my left for a bunch of stuff, but not writing and I wouldn't trust myself with a hammer. Other than that I can use both hands, I'm just not as good with my left

    Mini gps trackers

Ah, been ages since I chatted to anyone about bit. I thought it worked on most of the ISM frequencies like 433-?, 866-? But like I say it's been a while and not something that I have done anything with

    Mini gps trackers

Have you thought about LoRaWan? They use a range of frequencies and as an amateur you can use more power than unlicensed people on the right frequency. They come with a a range of add on modules including GPS etc

Be interested to hear how you get on. Not got one or ordered one myself, but thought a heads up for interested parties was good

    Food dehydrator

Should anyone be interested, I got an email from Aldi with their latest offers the other day, one of which is a dehydrator for 30-40 quid.

    Kaweco travel pen

I use a syringe and blunt needle to refill the little standard international sized cartridges with other inks. To help me flush out pens I poked a hole in the back of a cartridge so I could fill the syringe with water and power flush the pen, it should not do damage as water can leak out where...

    Beware the Bratwurst

Just been down to Lidl for chilli bratwursts and saw that they had leffe brune for £2.50 for the big bottle, grabbed a couple, well it'd be rude not too!

    Dressing for a Job Interview

I would say put on the tie. The interviewer can always let you know if it's ok with them to take it off. Of course it's a 2 way process, you are looking at them as well. You could always ask what sort of dress code they want for interview, I've done that a couple of times. It shows that you are...

    European Thermal Mass stoves.

I used one once in Finland, it was made of some sort of blue quarry stone. As well as the usual damper arrangements it had a diverter for want of a better word. When you start the fire it runs straight to the chimney for maximum draw, once things are going properly, you pull the leaver and send...

    Decent pocketable torch

I have a few that I use, but I tend not to git rid of old ones, I still have my first ARC AAA and LS! I find my olight i3eos good, bright enough and simple to use. Also just got a Nebo lil' larry. Mainly for the car, but it's looking useful for all sorts.

    Baofeng Fanboys & Fan Girls

Is it dual band? Or a 2m that can therefore be used on 70cm as they are relatively speaking harmonically related?

    Tiny Monocular / Telescope.

I've got a Leica monovid. It's 8x20. In bright light it's equal to my 10x50 DDR Zeiss bins, though it will have less optical resolution. It looses out as light fades, but because it has excellent coating on the optical components not as bad or as quickly as one might think. It is however not...
