I will offer up a gamekeeper John pocket catapult with a brand new band (might have a spare if I can find it) and a handful of 9mm steel ball bearing ammo
Interested in hearing about these- I like the flapjack bars from home bargains but the shelf life on them is less than 2 years if lucky. Asda also have a range of protein bars but again the date on them is usually a year ahead.
The video I saw earlier in the week showed the farmer driving down the country road, spotting the camper in the field and making some comment about it, turning the tractor into the field and then went ahead and sprayed him and the tent.
Not saying either party is innocent, but from what I saw...
I'm not sure how true it is but the camper was apparently on a charity bike ride.
Again, not certain but it looked like the farmer was using his phone whilst on a public road as well while operating machinery.
I get that they get annoyed if they catch people on their land, but a conversation...
I have found on some sheaths the plastic liner can sometimes dull the blade if it catches when removing the knife.
I wet-formed the leather sheath for my casstrom lars falt along with a few others on the weekend and the fit is 100% better and I would recommend giving it a try

The facilities were in a local nature reserve and...
There's always a few question choices on each season in my opinion. Another is the shovel- I have one and it's nowhere near an axe for chopping, or the catapult fowler chose on season 3 over a bow.
I know it comes down to skillsets but having seen the difficult conditions previous contestants...
The one that was chosen had a pliers but no apparent wire cutters. With choosing wire for snares and crafting I would prefer a leatherman to be able to cut the wire
Have also noticed a few have modified their leathermans so they have gouges and chisels for carving
I usually use a French press but it's a bit big to be taking out and about and a nightmare to clean- will update once it's arrived and been used to how it compares
Following on from my comment on the other thread-
If I were to hot tent and need to carry a setup quite a distance regularly I would consider one of the Ti folding woodstoves, but as its a short walk from the car to where I usually go I manage with my outbacker stove just fine.
I do like the...
