    Sold Waxed Poncho - Reduced

I have a similar type thing by Carradice. Brilliant for cycling, far better than waterproof jacket and trousers- let’s you breathe. Might be worth sewing a couple of loops for holding the front on your handlebars using paracord or similar if you use it on a bike. Mine also has cords for...

    Recommend a YouTube Channel

Just what I need, was going to look because I’ve just had arthritis diagnosed in both hips, aged 59. Very depressing, especially considering waiting lists for replacements, anyway, this looks to be just the sort of video I wanted. Thanks!:dancer:(I wish!:))

Where to find custom knife makers?

Nomad Knifeworks makes some very nice knives. I believe he used to work with Stephen Wade Cox, who was acknowledged as one of UKs premier knife maker. Amongst other designs, he still makes the Woodlore Pro, although it’s more called something else as I believe Emberleaf now make it for Ray...

For Sale Charity Sale; Scottish Crannog Centre

I’m afraid I will still pass, I have a bit of a stockpile (for me, maybe 6 or 7), I only infrequently smoke one and have had these for at least 18 months. It’s good that they’ve been kept air tight though. :)

For Sale Charity Sale; Scottish Crannog Centre

Tempted by the cigars but I suspect they’ll be well dried and past it, as for the book, I’m pretty sure I sent a copy to Oxfam Books- one of my late mother’s, she had over 100 cookbooks and only so many could I keep.:(

    What did you buy today?

I remember when I got it, I read on some forum about getting different things for it, the steam wand like you got and I think the other might have been a different basket thing, the coffee holder with the handle. I might look into the steam wand.

    What did you buy today?

I have the Gaggia Classic, just keeps on working (had it for years). Makes a lovely cup, albeit being a bit faffy with the preheating and cleaning the steamer wand and what have you, although it’s just become an automatic, polished routine.

    Best Bushcraft books

Just received this, a signed copy from bushgear.co.uk. Very impressed, it seems to be quite a bit more comprehensive than a lot I have, plus it’s geared towards Northern Europe rather than the American continent which is a plus. A very worthy addition! Also just sent off for Woodcraft Wisdom and...

Securing shelter from the strong wind

If it did fly off in a gale, you may well also have the issue of paying for any damage it does to your neighbour’s property, depending on your insurance (who’ll do anything to wriggle out of paying out).

    Ongoing care

I was really surprised and impressed by the range of dressings used nowadays. I used to work as a care assistant in my youth, nearly 40 years ago, night and day now! I went with my mother when she was getting a wound dressed, tried to remember which dressing when, but failed miserably. Some are...
