    Barbour Jackets

I have been using a Beaufort for the last 8 years, both in and out of the woods, yes it is heavy, but it is also tough and durable, as long as you look after it, it will look afetr you.

    Finnish ranger knife

I got one about 2 years ago, , the spine is 5mm thick, the blade 160mm long and is very sturdy, I tend to use mine as a mini machette/Leku type blade- it batons easily and splits wood very well due to its V grind shape. You can get it very sharp ! but it a bit too big for detailed work.

    Bark River North Star

I love my North Star, its small, light and fits my hands great, I have a large selection of cutlery to choose from and on short trips I find I use it more than most, I havn't had to sharpen it much yet, I think that will be the big test as I'm more comfortable sharpening Scandi grinds.

What PCP air rifle should i get ?

I still find springers a good bet if your going to be shooting away from a power source, when camping on land where I have shooting rights, I always use my SFS Spectre ( a custom WH95), no need to rely on bottles and pumps etc. Also at typical hunting ranges, a 12fpe springer is as acurate as a...
