Sold Stoney Path Knives x2

A couple of Stoney Path knives for sale - both have been unused for various life reasons, and I would rather they go to a better home!

• Woodie - desert ironwood scales, black liners, 4mm blade stock, blade length just a smidge over 100mm, brown leather sheath with black stitching - £170 plus post Now £140 posted
• The other one (I know it has a name, but I don't know it!) - bog oak scales, orange liners, 4mm blade stock, blade length 85mm, brown leather sheath with orange stitching - £130 plus post

Both have mosaic pins. Very good condition all around, except for some minor corrosion to the brassy bits on the mosaic pins and tiny scuffs to the leather in places.

Despite lengthy searching in my e-mails, I just can't find the original comms when I bought these - I am 90% sure they are O1 steel, but I know these do come in stainless variants sometimes. The blades are not marked with the steel type sadly. If anyone can tell me any way to figure this out from looking at the knife blade, I'd be very grateful!?

The blades are not marked with the steel type sadly. If anyone can tell me any way to figure this out from looking at the knife blade, I'd be very grateful!?

Clean bevel to remove any oil and place a small drop of water on the bevel….watch to see if it rusts. Should be easy to polish off if it does. That at least will tell you if it is stainless.
