It does look like a wasp. But I think it is supposed to be a hornet. The head looks hornet-y, but the body looks too much like a wasp. The stem is a bit long on the poppy as well.

I also want to use the image as a badge for my bags and maybe caps, sleeping bags, shirts and fleeces too. Dad has done that and they are really cool. Sewn on to my personal things will cut down on missing stuff I am sure.

Yes, that’s nice. But the poppy stalk is a bit weird. It might look good when it’s avatar sized. I like that the hornet is sitting on it. I tried to do that but it kept on putting extra legs all down the body.

Yes. But the stalk is still weird. I don’t like how it goes off the end of the picture. I will save those and see if I can do that bit a bit better. Like it’s all self contained and framed nicely.

It’s funny but a bit too cartoony. I want a more serious one.

It’s a funny one. Like a backwards leopard. Sand wasps are my favourites as they are easy to observe hunting and nesting if you just sit and watch.
