I love that quirky Finnish humour. A while back, they had videos testing the strength of their gear; the best one was what they did to a closed-cell foam mat. Through tears of laughter, I pressed the 'add to cart' button. The mat has been utterly brilliant.
Gotta love their marketing strategy. Keeping things in-house, re-assuringly robust and presented with some good humour is fantastic. I'm not ashamed to admit that I've become a bit of a Savotta fan-boy. My Kahakka 25 has easily been the best pack that I've ever had and I've not regretted paying the premium that they charge for their products.
Just some trivia: Savotta means a "logging site" and nowadays any slightly tedious work.
