I think there are a few of us here who make videos, so thought maybe we could have a thread for sharing tips/tricks/discussing all things editing.

I’m an absolute amateur, just to get that out of the way. :D

Anyway, one of my favourite YouTubers, Atomic Shrimp, has just uploaded a video showing his editing process which he explains in his usual clear and helpful manner.


Already a few bits on there that I’m going to be giving a go.
 
Timely post, I took a fair bit of drone footage on a recent trip to Sweden and was going to start looking at software for editing etc, I'll give it a look see, thanks.

He mentions DaVinci Resolve and I can second that recommendation. No need to pay for the studio version if you’d prefer not to, the free version is pretty comprehensive.
