    Knife making help

    I mark the lines out with a pair of oddlegs and then use a protractor to check the angle. No jig to file the bevels though, all done by hand and eye.

    Cromwells or Phoenix Steels Both have good stocks. Cromwells you can order from the interwebs though.

    Just going on past experience, I had to chuck a tin of Linseed because quite frankly, it stank to high heaven. Never had that problem with Tung oil.

    I like Tung oil, it doesn't go rancid like Linseed can.

    I simply refuse to pay the rip-off UK prices for multi-tools. Leatherman, for instance, recently closed the door to UKers buying their stuff from the US and making massive savings.

    Tramontina machete(s)

    Another thumbs up for bacons dozen. I bought my Mora Clipper and Tramontina machete from them along with other bits and bobs at other times. They are a good company to deal with plus the prices are pretty keen as well. £6 for the Clipper (red one with black grip), you'd do well to find it...
