Its a gourd that is able to hold water. Its a primitive water canteen.

I made this a while back. Thanks to my friend Guy who gave me the gourd.

Thanks Ogri, Ill probably wrap some yucca cordage around it to give it that nice primitive look. :D I just made a burlington chert knife and will post in a little bit.

It fits nice in my hand. I made it with antler.

Tony, I sawed a notch with a hand saw,,,, Tommorrow I will finish the notch and add epoxy and sinew.

Im making this knife for my grandpa. He likes the fact that I have hobbies like primitive skills and knapping. He used to be a sculptor, sketcher, and artist.

Ive never used atlatl weights,, Maybe I should start using them.

Well I thought Oetzi used a copper flaker, but he did have a copper axe. I saw a couple documentarys on him and thought I saw a copper-tipped one. Guess I need to do more research.
