Wow. Absolutely stunning album. Plenty of work gone in there.
I've been thinking about doing something similar for UK, but stopped at gathering pictures stage. :) Lack of time is my excuse...
Pig nut in my garden! Why didn't I come up with that earlier ?!
Toddy, thank you for that epiphany :)
I'll search for some sweet cicely, but it's nowhere around Sheffield, unless I'm blind (which I've been known to be).
Thank you for the warnings. It wasn't my intention to eat the plant. Just one of those things that bug you for ages , if you know what I mean.
I forage for known and unmistakable plants and fruit. While doing it lately there was so much of that cow parsley around I just got curious.
And yes...
It looks like cow parsley, the root smells of parsley/carrot, the seeds have parsley smell to them. Thank you very much chaps. It's been bugging me for weeks. :relief: :)
Hi everyone,
This is a very common plant in Yorkshire but all my tries to ID it have been unsuccessful.
Below are photos.
The size varies from 30 cm to 130cm. Grows absolutely everywhere.
Thanks a bunch.
