    New spider friend

all spiders bite, it's how they do business. as above though, mostly only if provoked. the wee ones cannot pierce skin though and even some of our bigger ones only nip. (not a spider expert, just what my mate the head warden at a local reserve told me)

    winter motorbiking

i have ridden all year in all weathers on a bmw r80, snow and ice no problem! it certainly sharpens up the reflexes. but buy a few dozen new seats, as your backside will be eating chunks out of them every day:eek: seriously, don't do it, it's something that you do as a young person and...

    Wheel tampering Aviemore region

It seems even the Highlands has its share of scumbags, that's a bit strong, as you have no real idea what happened, just an assumption. it was a possibly catastrophic situation, and thankfully you found it before an accident. I have half dozen cousins in the highlands and they would be...

    Shrinking wool?

give them to my SWMBO to wash mate. you could hot wash them, but that could shrink them too much, and it makes wool harsh and nasty. try progressively hotter washes. that is kinda last resort stuff though, i am sure someone else will know better. chris.
