    Hi to all

Hi Jeffrey. Hope you enjoy the forums. I think you're not too far from Marin County? That's on my to ride list for sure. Beautiful trails.

You are going on a 3 day trip and have to stay UK legal so what do you carry?

For most trips I carry my usual SAK, Leatherman, small fixed blade and saw combo, excepting city stays when I obviously ditch the small fixed blade and take a much larger tactical fixed blade.

    What did you buy today?

Coincidentally, just picked up one of his stacked horn eating knives at a flea market of all places. My son is a fan of his YouTube stuff and all things medieval so he'll appreciate it for our cookouts.

    What did you buy today?

Skrama 80. Bought one year's ago for my youngest but he prefers his Mora. That's practically a full sized knife though. Do you pocket carry it regularly?

    What did you buy today?

Teedee, that's exactly what I'm pondering, guess I'll have to give one a try. Nice65, really appreciate the feedback, especially the pic of it next to the Jaakaripuukko 140, puts it into perspective for me. Do you find it a useful size day to day? I like a small fixed blade in my pocket for...

    Deja vu! Alternative universe maybe?

    What did you buy today?

How are you finding the Firefly? Priceless companion or priced competitively in next week's classifieds?

    Some cool lighters

They're very interesting Tony, useful bits of pocket treasure. Like you say Tantalus, very satisfying. There's always boxes full at the collector's markets near me. Might have to pick up a couple for s&gs.

Grizzly pocket buddy back in stock

Looks like a decent option, similar to a Buck Rival maybe?

    Pork scratchings...yes or no?

Pineapple and cheese on a stick. Classy.

    Brooklyn-Based, Moving to UK

Depending on where you're moving to I imagine that will be quite a change. Hope you enjoy the site and the UK. Incidentally, whenever I see Brooklyn I immediately think of Brooklyn Machine Works; I coveted the TMX for many years. Have an urge to watch NWD now.

    Homemade canoes?

Hats off to all of you who have made your own beautiful watercraft. I look forward to someday having the time to do the same. Until then, does anyone have a reasonably priced packraft for sale?

Hultafors Heavy Duty Knife GK or OK1/OK4?

I have the GK, my son the OK4. Both work well, the OK4 being a case of you can't polish a turd but you can roll it in glitter!

    Vietnamese knife

You can't beat bringing something old and handmade back to a useable state again.
