well i popped along on friday night for my first meet.
found the campsite noprobs as i could hear them all they way from maybole.
my first bit of bushcraft was shown to me seconds after i was welcomed in around the stove( how to open a bottle without a bottle openner lol back to basics)

am thinking of getting a dslr but still not got a clue on them
my g/f gave me her old nikon slr f75 to play with just now to see if i can get used to a camera

i thought the film was good but to have it in 3 movies killed me. now i have to wait another 2 years to see it to the end "(
the dwarfs just didnt sit right for me but in a whole it was good film tho it will never be like the book as everyones imagination is diffrent.
yea its a frontier stove just got it aweek ago as i plan to put a flashing kit in my bell tent for it.
it was a good afternoon, it got us away from our family for a few hours
went to loch lomand with brother for a wee lunch

think my first wild camp is going to be very basic so i can see how i enjoy it
then i can add to it with what i missed or needed from the first outing.
then when every1 from my neck of the country start going out again i will
see if i can join them and learn the way and see...

thanx for the kind offer woof, i do have a few diffrent size billy cans that i use for my bell tent when camping.
just got myself a dd travel hammock so dont have to take tent now.

this give me afew pointers on a basic kit as am only used to taking my campervan then
camping a few yards away from the van with everything in it.
now i can sort a kit out and go and get lost in the countryside for a couple of days.

yes i have tents, sleeping bag.
but just intrested in what you the guys and girls that do it more than just once in a blue moon take in your back packs.
