    DD underblanket.

Just about to buy one of these. The price seems right. For anyone that's tried it, do you think it would work well with just that and a fleece blanket on top in the warmer months? I always feel a bit restricted in sleeping bags so would be nice to leave it at home. Also, has anyone actually...

    What did you buy today?

Hehe, I live in Sweden so nearly every time I go to a flea market I come back with a Trangia! This was the dearest one I've actually bought. But after reading up on Duossal it seems like it was a good deal :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Wild camping tent advice...for me and the missus

Just used the Cobra 3 for four wet and windy days in the Scottish Highlands. Was fairly spacious for 2 big lads and held up well. Really easy to pitch too, about 5 minutes more or less. I really love the big stuff sack it comes with, makes it really easy to pack away. The only gripe I have...

    Inverpolly Camping

Heading on a canoe trip around this area in June. Have the basic itinerary planned out but was wondering if anyone has camped out near the summit of Cul Mor or Cul Beag? Saw some pics that looked like there were some decent spots, any pointers? Also, should we be expecting midge hell in early...

    Lundhags bargains

Glad some of ye could avail of the bargains. So typical to see this a few weeks after I bought my own Lundhags at normal price! On a slightly side note does anyone else have the Scout/Forrest boots? I took their advice and sized up, thing is I really gotta wear at least two pairs of socks to...

    Lundhags bargains

I'm not in any way affiliated with this service except for subscribing to their newsletter, but I just saw that sportpursuit webshop have some serious deals going at the moment with Lundhags gear. I just forked out for a pair of Forrest and probably would have gone for the Pros if I could...

    southern sweden

Also worth going to is Olofstrom and Lake Immeln, you'd need a car for that and would probably take about 2 hours or so from Copenhagen. Not spent as much time there but from what I have seen it's quite beautiful.

    southern sweden

A gang of us spent a long weekend canoeing from Tingsryd to Ronneby along the Ronnebyån river last summer. The entire Blekinge and Småland region is packed full of lush untouched forest and lakes. It's about a 3 hour hour train ride from Copenhagen airport to this area, around the same in a car...

    Swedteam Ullfrotte/Woolpower Baselayer

Yeah think I jumped the gun there. Should have sussed the lower case ullfrotte might not be a brand name. Not being a native speaker I just assumed it was. Still looking forward to checking these out.

    Swedteam Ullfrotte/Woolpower Baselayer

Anyone try this gear? Just seen a set on sale and couldn't stop myself buying. Have heard good things about Ullfrotte in general but nothing about their stuff for Swedteam. Hope I chose wisely :) Seems a reasonable price compared to other sets I've seen, works out about 40gbp...

Waxing an old Fjallraven Thin jacket

I just thought firstly of using the wax as I have a bar at home that I've used on a vintage Greenland jacket with reasonable results. Never had much issues with breathability and it held up well in showers and light rain, never tried it in anything heavier. Found its best to just rub on the wax...
