Sweet, I'll take it please! I'd potentially be interested in any spare bits and bobs you have, depending on cost. Not really after the metal part of the frame but spare straps and canvas for mods would be handy. No stress if it's gonna be a pain to find though!
Decided to try to fix the terrible suspension system on my snugpak UQ once and for all. I've experimented with a bunch of no-sew mods to which try to compensate for the lack of cincheable end-channels but none of them really worked for me and I felt like I was unpacking a parachute every time I...
I'm Sussex based and would have been up for this. Unfortunately I'm supposed to be at a wedding over those dates. But if that's postponed (again) or if you settle on different dates I'm interested.
I like to tip a handful or two of frozen blackcurrants into my morning porridge just before serving. My gf and I got through a full freezer drawer full in a couple of months like this. Supermarket berries just don't have the same punch, sadly.

Another lockdown project, this one a bit quicker. I ordered a 24" Bahco dry cut blade and based the proportions off that. I used oak, mostly because I had some well-seasoned in the workshop, but it's also a very strong wood so a decent choice in it's own right.
I used slotted head bolts for...
I thought people were just winding me up to start with. I've honestly gazed at it for ages in all different lights and I just can't see it :O_O:
Thanks for the kind words all! When I do next make a knife you'll be the first to hear of it! I'm thinking some kind of hidden tang carver to...
I've forged a small neck knife for my girlfriend before, and put a handle on a Condor Bushlore, but this was my first time making a full-sized knife from start to finish. I've wanted a woodlore for as long as I can remember, so I designed the knife based on that (sort of). The handle is around 4...
