sorry i have't posted i work nights
i took it to a shop that sells them if mine is real the QC must have been on sick
the stamps match up but-
the main blade is slightly thiner
and the saws slightly thicker?
also the saw teeth ave still got burrs hanging off right along
i can't see...
hi all first post in ages
i've got a sak huntsman and am sure it's a fake
could someone post a pic of what it says on the blade on theirs please
mine says swiss made not switzerland like the 4 others i've got
the main blade is about 1mm thiner and the saws not right
am sending it back but...
bracken + wildlife tracks = ticks
they hang on the tip of bracken just waiting to jump on to you
i've only been in the woods about 4 weeks out of this year and
i've pulled loads out over 10 easy
well done jodie!:You_Rock_
woodsmoke's like pokeimon or what ever it's called
once you've been on one coruse you what to do them all
when i was on a woodlander there was someone with a bad back
they done the bowdrill on one of the logs you/we sit on round the fire he still needed to
put...
the best thing to do is drill holes in it with a power drill at home til it's all gone
and put the shaveings in a tub then mix it with your tinder as needed
on it's own it will flash burn-blink and it's gone
don't use your lighter to see in the dark there may be gas leaks!
you'll light the place up- but in a bad way!
same for firesteels however there are a good signal at night
my dad use to have ferrets and made a hammock for them!
he made it out of a sandbag put a small hole in the middle-ferret crawls in the hole
and swings about looking happy:)
i've snaped alot of them when all i had was the sas handbook
and a home made tin like said before it's best to make a bow saw with it
swap the rings for para cord so they won't cut in to your hands helps as well
i ve seen one by lowswater in the lakes
but i was not really looking for them
a tree had been cut back i was looking at it as you do
there was a clicking noise i looked up and one was looking down at me
it then run off down the branch
i think reds like it in the trees more than the ground...
a arc welder would be no good
a mig set would work but the stainless wire will cost a bit and
you maybe only use 6" of it
finding some one with a tig set would be your best bet
i did'it mean the ink
it's like pressed in to the steel mainly a 4 on coke cans
and 46 or 36 on a beer can they stick out or down only faint
s.o.r.r.y red i sould have put it better at first
