Yep, I have a 1x30 from harbor freight. That's pretty much all I use besides sandpaper. I hacksaw the blank out. :) THANKS SO MUCH EVERYONE!!!

Yeah, someday I'd like to learn how to do leather, but kydex is easy with the limited tools I have. My dousing also likes the more "tactical" stuff anyway. :)

Thanks so much for your comments! I don't think that's a gap on the kitchen knife, maybe just a bit of epoxy. There are quite a few things that you couldn't see in the pics, mainly superglue on the rosewood one and around where the handle meets the blade where your finger goes is a bit rough...

My belt sander is a Harbour Freight 1x30. I'm not sure if it's the same type that you're talking about but I'm in the US. Thanks everybody!
