Yeah, someday I'd like to learn how to do leather, but kydex is easy with the limited tools I have. My dousing also likes the more "tactical" stuff anyway. :)

Thanks so much for your comments! I don't think that's a gap on the kitchen knife, maybe just a bit of epoxy. There are quite a few things that you couldn't see in the pics, mainly superglue on the rosewood one and around where the handle meets the blade where your finger goes is a bit rough...
