Yes Bob, there is a shop on the outer edge of the village of Kittila where you can buy fuel, it is called Scanburger. Also a great place to have a snack and get some calories in you :-)

'Proper' daylight was mostly from ~9.30 to ~15.30 but with snow and the moonlight I was able to walk around at night without needing a torch/light.
