    Energy Bar Recommendations.

Interested in hearing about these- I like the flapjack bars from home bargains but the shelf life on them is less than 2 years if lucky. Asda also have a range of protein bars but again the date on them is usually a year ahead.

    Farmer sprays cyclist wild camper.

The video I saw earlier in the week showed the farmer driving down the country road, spotting the camper in the field and making some comment about it, turning the tractor into the field and then went ahead and sprayed him and the tent. Not saying either party is innocent, but from what I saw...

    Farmer sprays cyclist wild camper.

I'm not sure how true it is but the camper was apparently on a charity bike ride. Again, not certain but it looked like the farmer was using his phone whilst on a public road as well while operating machinery. I get that they get annoyed if they catch people on their land, but a conversation...

    Plastic insert for leather sheath

I have found on some sheaths the plastic liner can sometimes dull the blade if it catches when removing the knife. I wet-formed the leather sheath for my casstrom lars falt along with a few others on the weekend and the fit is 100% better and I would recommend giving it a try

Voluntarily handing in a large blade to the UK police

May as well wait and see what happens, otherwise everyone 'should' dispose of their current collection incase there's a mass ban on pointy things in the future. I wouldnt worry about what you read in the news until its an actual law. With regards to selling it shouldn't be an issue- it's after...

    The other half - Handles.

If I had the choice I would choose a micarta over wood for less maintenance and a bit more weather resistance, but I do like a wood with some grain. After a few uses I may sand down flatspots buts that's very minor and apply some sort of finishing oil

    Forest schools are a failure.

There was one run close to me, massively funded by the councils and through some charities. The owner cooked the books, took a payday and dissolved the company, only for it to be opened again a short while later trading under a different name. The facilities were in a local nature reserve and...

Alone (UK) TV series. What ten items would you choose?

There's always a few question choices on each season in my opinion. Another is the shovel- I have one and it's nowhere near an axe for chopping, or the catapult fowler chose on season 3 over a bow. I know it comes down to skillsets but having seen the difficult conditions previous contestants...
