    Beginners kit

    As I am very new to this life, could I get some help or ideas of what sort of hardware I might need? I am guessing an axe and a knife… but where do I go from there please?

    I am in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, so not the most rural of areas, I am happy to practice some of the things in my back garden, it’s not huge, but it’s an enclosed area that I can “get my hands dirty” so to speak and just learn the dexterity needed :)

    Thank you for your reply, I have ordered my first book, and intend to read it cover to cover when it arrives. The YouTube videos, are the instructional or are they just “look at what I made” - as I say I am very very new to this and I am sure there are a lot of false starts out there :)
