    Middlewood - Spring 2008 Meet...

I'll bring my wellies just in case, I might even bring my swimming gear seeing how wet it's going to be this weekend! I aim to drive straight from work so hopefully if there are not too much traffic be there about 6pm.

    Middlewood - Spring 2008 Meet...

Looks like my tarp is not going to arrive on time, does anyone have a spare tarp? so I can do a hammock setup, if not I'll be sleeping in my tent. Really looking forward to meeting everyone at the meet on the weekend!

    Heads up-Birch Sap Rising!

It's not started here in the area of Derbyshire I live. I tested some birch trees yesterday and the sap hasn't started rising but I did have a lovely time wandering in the woods. Will try again this coming weekend. I'm going to try to make some Birch beer & wine once I get my hands on some...

    Middlewood - Spring 2008 Meet...

Hi there Will anyone be doing a Hammock and Tarp setup for the meet? I've got my hammock and I'm waiting for my Tarp on order, if it does not arrive on time then I'll be sleeping in a tent but I would still be interested to learn how others do their Hammock & Tarp setup.

    Christmas/New Years Meet at Swyns 5 & 6 Jan 2008

Just wondering if I will be able to borrow someone's small pan to cook on? I can't find my camping cooking pot anywhere, all I could find was the kettle, so if I could borrow a pan, I'll be happy to make you a cuppa :-) Looking forward to this weekend.

    Hi all,from Derbyshire

-These days mostly band weavings, tablet and the like Sounds interesting. I picked up basic knitting and corn dolly making last year so not as complicated as your weaving :-)
